This Music and the Written World conference was dedicated to the convergence of music and text. It featured a diverse collection of papers presented by graduate students from across the country and abroad.

A keynote address was presented on Saturday January 16 by Josh Kun, Associate Professor at the USC Annenberg School of Communication and author of Audiotopia.  The title of his paper was “Of Angels and Migrants: The Words and Music of El Otro Mexico.”
